The year has come to an end for some on the basketball court, but it is always nice to look back at the seasons that a few Phenom Alums have had. We move down to South Florida this time around, taking a look at a 7-foot big man that had a solid season for the Bulls. Junior Michael Durr has been a consistent presence down in the paint, now playing in 87 games and starting 85 games in his career so far.
His junior season has been his best to date, averaging a career best 26.4 minutes, 8.8 points, and 7.9 rebounds per game, while also averaging 0.9 blocks per game. Production has been key for Durr at USF, posting solid numbers in the minutes provided. In fact, averaging nearly a double-double this season, if you expand that out to 40 minutes, Durr would be posting 13.3ppg, 12.0rpg, 1.4bpg, and 1.0spg.
Phenom Hoops got a chance to view Durr back when he was with Oldsmar Christian School, as he showed many programs just the type of production he could bring, averaging 12.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game as a junior.
Durr has only continued this stellar play into his college years and expect him to finish off his career in a big way down the road.
