Phenom: How has everything been going so far this season for you?
Stevens: It has been going pretty well. We have had some tough games so far and looking to keep it rolling as a team.

Phenom: How has it been this season personally for you and your game? What has been your mindset so far this season?
Stevens: So far, for me, it has been about stepping into a bigger leadership role and embracing that, and my mindset is to just win.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game and how you like to operate on the court?
Stevens: I like to get to my spots on offense and find efficient shots for myself and my teammates.  On defense, I love to play with intensity and create turnovers and fast-break opportunities.

Phenom: How has your recruitment been going? What has been the latest?
Stevens: Overall, it has been really good; really exciting. I took a couple of visits in between the end of my AAU season in the summer until about the beginning of my school season. They were all pretty good and you know, just hope to keep that momentum.

Phenom: Thoughts on your latest offer from Notre Dame?
Stevens: I’ve been talking to them for a little bit before they offered. The head coach just hadn’t seen me in person yet. He saw me play last weekend at the Hoop Fest, so that was cool. I’m very honored to be offered by them and their coaching staff.

Phenom: What other offers do you hold?
Stevens: Marquette, Virginia, Maryland, Villanova, Stanford, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and Penn State.

Phenom: Who has been recruiting you strong in your eyes?
Stevens: Marquette without a question. I talk to Coach Smart every day.

Phenom: What has that relationship been like with them?
Stevens: I’ve been working on building a strong one with them. I’d say it is personal, things about more than basketball.

Phenom: Have any visits coming up or plans on visits?
Stevens: Not until next year.

Phenom: What stood out or what did you from your last two visits to UVA and Marquette?
Stevens: For Marquette, their culture impressed me the most. The way everyone was so bought into what Coach Smart believed in; it was just special and you could tell everyone loved each other there and it was just a great environment. For UVA, their campus is beautiful but looking past that because there are a lot of schools that have beautiful campuses. What Coach Bennett is doing there is good. I got to watch them practice and his philosophies in practice, and the way he ns them is very similar to my high school coach now, so that was attractive. The way he talks to and believes in his players as well was also notable, and again just both overall were great experiences.

Phenom: Have any other schools been showing interest that have yet to offer?
Stevens: A couple like Michigan and Indiana.
