Phenom Hoops continues to make their rounds around the country, providing and talking to players all around the country as they provide an update on the latest with them and their recruitment. We recently spoke with 2024 Jacob Theodosiou from Western Reserve Academy, as he added his fifth offer recently and has other schools reaching out.
See what he had to say when we spoke to him.
Phenom: What are you hoping to show more with your game this summer and carry on from this high school season'
Theodosiou: I'm looking to show I have really worked on my game to be able to score on all three levels by adding a pull-up to my game, as well that I am a combo guard with a high IQ and can run a team.
Phenom: How would you best describe your game'
Theodosiou: I'm a complete player who is able to shoot from anywhere as well as make the right reads o the floor.
Phenom: Talking about your recruitment. What has been the latest with you'
Theodosiou: This week, I picked up my fifth offer from Dayton, which was huge. I stay in touch with other schools such as Villanova and West Virginia the most right now.
Phenom: Thoughts on Dayton' Know it is early but from what you have learned so far'
Theodosiou: Coach Grant is one of the best coaches in the game, he knows his stuff and has a great supporting cast. The fan base is dedicated and loves basketball, which makes you want to play even more. Will be a great option when it is time to commit.
Phenom: What other offers do you hold'
Theodosiou: South Carolina, Ohio, Lehigh, Youngstown State, and Dayton.
Phenom: What have they said in general that they like about your game' Also, any visits you have made'
Theodosiou: They really like the way I can run a team and my leadership. They also said I am a natural scorer and someone who would fit right in their system. I don't have any visits planned yet but there are some in the works.
Phenom: What other schools have been showing interest your way'
Theodosiou: Lots of interests from different schools but the main ones are Villanova, West Virginia, and Indiana.
Phenom: Have you heard or talked to them at all' What have they said'
Theodosiou: Yeah, the communication is hard right now because of all the NCAA rules but we just talk about my future with their program and how they enjoy my game.
