Coach Erasto Hatchett is in his first year at Northside Christian in Charlotte, North Carolina. One thing is for sure, he is quite excited about the upside and potential of 6’5 freshman Jaden Seymour. He is averaging 12 PPG, 7 RPG, and 2 BPG and has enjoyed some memorable games as a freshman
In two games against Comenius, Jaden went for 15 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks in one game and had 18 points and seven rebounds in the second game. Against Davidson Day, Jaden had 14 points, six rebounds and one block. However, he recorded a double double against a very good Rocky River team where he had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
In speaking with Coach Hatchett, he stated the following on his prized freshman. “ Jaden has tremendous upside and is an extremely hard worker. He is very coachable and accepts all challenges that I put before him. One of the focal points we will concentrate in the off-season and summer is going to add strength to his frame. For a freshman, Jaden has the potential to be a special basketball player.”
Jaden is putting up impressive numbers for a freshman against really good and quality competition. This alone speaks volume and he is definitely one to put in your SIM CARD.
