If you haven't been able to catch any action this year at Hargrave Academy in Virginia, you have been missing out on something special with one prospect. 2021 Jackie Johnson has simply been unstoppable this season, putting up outstanding numbers that are quickly catching the attention of college coaches around the country.

Johnson came to Hargrave before the season started this year, coming from Wichita Southeast in Kansas.  While there, he had earned a few offers such as Coastal Carolina and Montana State.  He then made the move to Virginia to play with one of the top programs around the region and it is paying off.  First, just take a look at the numbers Johnson has been posting this season!

27.2 points per game
58 field goal percentage
4.1 3-pointers made per game
54 3-point percentage
93 free throw percentage
6.5 assists per game
3.9 rebounds per game
2.2 steals per game

Johnson has been outstanding with his game, and with talking to head coach Thomas Messinger, it has been something special to have him on the court.

'He has had the best offensive season I've seen in my nine years at Hargrave,' Messinger told Phenom Hoops.' 'He is incredibly fast with the ball and is as efficient as you can possibly be shooting the ball.' He has range that literally goes back almost to half court.' He has next-level court vision as well and when teams key on him, he is able to make creative passes in traffic to open teammates. He has been invaluable to our 20-0 start, as we know night in and night out, he is going to give us close to 30 points no matter who we are playing against. Super consistent nightly.'

Night after night, Johnson has produced at an extremely high level, which is why offers are starting to pick up more for him.  St. Bonaventure, East Carolina, and North Texas have all recently offered the talented scoring guard and schools like Minnesota, Kansas, Wichita State, Seton Hall, and Kansas State have all been recruiting him pretty steadily.

Let's just say, coaches are liking what they are seeing from Johnson and it could be the start of a crazy recruitment for the Virginia guard, especially as he continues to stellar performance after stellar performance.
