After months of nonstop basketball, the travel ball season is officially behind us. Now, we pivot and look forward to the upcoming high school season'where many guys are entering their senior season with no offers from college coaches. While it might seem like time to panic, things aren't as grim as they appear. Every year, there are usually about five to ten prospects who see their recruitment explode during the final stage of their high school journey. There is no real way to predict what'll happen over the next six months, but each of these guys should have a variety of suitors at the next level. Let's look at each…

6'10 Kenan Parrish (Northwood)

Quite possibly the most perplexing entry on this list, Parrish should definitely already have multiple scholarships. Not only does he possess the size, strength, and interior presence, but the sturdy 6-foot-10 big man has shined as a reliable, productive piece throughout the summer season. Parrish is massive, but moves well and understands how to maintain a strong rebounding presence on both ends of the floor. He displays nice touch around the basket, floor-spacing ability, and useful instincts as a rim-protector. Parrish is a very low-maintenance big who should collect numerous offers going forward.

6'9 Sam Martin (Apex)

Although others on his team saw an uptick in recruitment, Martin should definitely see more schools get involved over the upcoming season. He's a steady, team-oriented big man who doesn't necessarily need to score in order to make an impact. It felt like many coaches were expecting him to dominate the ball and tally thirty points in each outing, but that's not the manner in which Martin approaches the game. He certainly can score the ball at a high volume, but that generally isn't necessary with their balanced Strong Center group. Martin is a quality passer, rebounder, and shot-blocking cog who finishes, scores from the post, and can space the floor as needed. His recruitment will expand over the coming months.

6'9 Derrick Green (Seventy-First)

Despite battling injuries, there has never been a question about Green's ability to produce when healthy. In our viewings earlier in the summer, he proved to be a matchup problem for various types of opposing big men. Green possesses a huge frame and the overwhelming strength to absolutely manhandle opponents around the basket. He utilizes his body extremely well to secure post position, absorb contact, and overpower his assignment on either end of the floor. Green rebounds, alters shots, and can finish above or below the rim. He plays hard, does the dirty work, and is simply too powerful to be contained by most big men.

6'10 John Baldwin (Northwood Temple)

Similar to the previous entry, Baldwin sports an absolutely massive frame and seems to steadily progress with each viewing. He's a strong, physically overwhelming post prospect with solid touch, shooting ability, and rebounding instincts. Baldwin isn't necessarily a vertical athlete but is tall, long, and strong enough to finish at the rim and consistently anchor the paint defensively. He plays hard, works for extra opportunities, and understands how to make an impact without forcing the action. Baldwin's body and general fluidity only seem to improve with time, so college programs would be smart to get involved sooner than later.

6'8 Kahlif Barnes (Piedmont Classical)

Concluding the list, Barnes has already seen various schools get involved with his recruitment. However, he could still be poised for a potential breakout season at Piedmont Classical. He's a strong, mobile, explosive big man who knows how to make his presence consistently felt as a rebounder, shot-altering presence, and finisher above the rim. Barnes is tough, scrappy, and doesn't need a lot of touches to make a lasting impression. He finds constant success by running the floor, positioning himself for success, and capitalizing on offensive opportunities whenever available. Barnes should continue accumulating offers.
