Player Standouts:

Northside Christian

2021 6'3 G Glynn Hubbard: Hubbard was really good in this matchup vs. Hickory Grove Christian.  He really made an impact in an array of ways offensively, getting into the scoring column early as well as rebounding and showing off his vision on the floor.  He has tremendous handles, having that ball on a string and is crafty with a smooth feel.  Hubbard also has very good speed, getting defenders on his hip and finishing or finding teammates.  Stats: 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals

2022 6'3 MJ Collins: Collins played a solid role vs. Hickory Grove.  He played on and off the ball, finished at the rim, but also showed his jumper.  He wasn't flashy but was efficient offensively but also stepped up defensively as well. Stats: 11 points

2020 6'7 Solomon Tucker: Tucker played really well down low in the paint.  His official stats may not blow you away but he was a real anchor/force down low.  Tucker scored around the rim, finishing at the rim but also was active on the glass and made his mark defensively blocking multiple shots. Stats: 8 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks

Others: Wesley Tubbs 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists/ Marcus Brown: 10 points

Hickory Grove

2021 6'4 AJ Smith: Smith's perimeter shot wasn't falling but he still was a force when he bullied his way towards the rim.' He works really well when he has the ball to initiate the offense, getting downhill and using his frame to his advantage but he also can play off the ball as well.' The length seemed to bother Smith in this game but still finished as the leading scorer. Stats: 17 points

2021 G Charles Stinson: He is known as a prospect that does it all for this team and that is what he did.  He scored inside and out, finishing strong and with a solid perimeter game but also rebounded the ball and dished out a few assists.  Stinson showed the ability to be the primary ball handler but one that uses his 6'7 wingspan to his advantage. Stats: 16 points
