We look back at 6'3 Norance Berry, an increasingly intriguing prospect that starred at our Queen City Showcase in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Already this AAU season, we at Phenom Hoops have been fortunate to host such a loaded field of players each and every event. In this article, we will look back at 6'3 Norance Berry, an increasingly intriguing prospect that starred at our Queen City Showcase in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Berry is from Tennessee, playing his high school ball at Cleveland HS and AAU with B. Maze Elite 15U. He currently holds a wide variety of interest that we'll divulge into later. Right now, Berry is an extremely polished two-way wing that will almost certainly find his way on a big-time program. Offensively, he displays a firm understanding for the game and knows how he can get involved with or without the ball. Berry is a long-bodied scorer that brings great efficiency from all three levels; he can create shots for himself and others quite well, but also shows a fire in his eye when heading towards the basket. However, Berry's defensive prowess cannot be ignored, as he frequently utilizes his long arms to get blocks, steals, and simply make life difficult for opponents. His ability to dominate an opponent on both sides of the ball is phenomenal; few players at the Queen City Showcase could match what Berry brings to a team. With that being said, now Berry will only bring more intrigue to college programs, as he is reclassing from 2019 to 2020. This might raise red flags for some, but it must be noted thatBerry is actually the age of a 2020 prospect'(he began grade school a year early).

Currently, Berry holds expressed interest from California, Colgate, Morehead State, Murray State, South Carolina Upstate, and Stanford. It's easy to understand why coaches have already begun to seek out a player like Berry. There is no limit for how dominant a player like Berry can be, especially if he continues to perform at such a high level year-round, which he's clearly proven able to do. Expect to hear more and more about Berry in the coming months, as he could emerge into a very elite prospect sooner than later.
