Growing up in a small community, Coach Pierce has always had a knack for basketball. He played at Crest high school, then played at Lee's McRae. After college, he got a chance to teach and coach. He then landed at Kings Mountain, where he had consistently put the program on the map each year. He has found success over the years, advancing far into the playoffs and having several players play at the next level.
