2024 Travelle Bryson should be a name that will catch on more and will look to continue the recent success at Mooresville this upcoming season. The 6’3 shooting guard has had a strong summer, whether it was at the Phenom Team Camp or at other team camps. But he is really putting his name on the map around the region of the state. Mooresville is coming off a tremendous season in which they finished with a 21-4 overall record, but the Blue Devils will be losing some key seniors from last year and will need others to step up. Bryson could be one of those guys…
When you talk about his game, Bryson has only grown more into his body and now stands at 6’3 but has continued to add more to his game to make him a better overall player and more effective on the court. He has a nice feel and court sense, understanding how to attack, how to finish well around defenders, or showcase his smooth/confident shot from multiple levels. Bryson is a crafty guard and with his game and the teammates around him, Bryson has a chance to make his name well-known and continue the success at Mooresville.
What Has Been Said:
“Bryson has really improved as a guard. Getting a chance to watch him for over a year and a half, at that time, he showed that he had a good floor sense and could be an effective shooter. He has now added more to his game, showing his ability to score in a variety of ways, creating more for himself, displaying his craftiness with the ball in his hands, and just being a playmaker on the floor. Should be a huge piece for Mooresville this upcoming season.” Patrick O’Brien in 2022
“He’s a young, slightly undersized guard prospect that handles and passes the ball well. Bryson is a well-rounded floor general against his own age group, but stood out at camp with his ability to shoot the ball, especially as a spot-up threat.” – All American Camp in 2019
“He’s a wiry, scrappy guard prospect that simply knows how to create havoc with his energy level. Bryson is a nice three-point shooter but can also score from inside the arc while rebounding extremely well for his size on both ends of the floor.” – NC Jr. Phenom 2019
