2028 Micah Gunter (Greensboro Day)
When talking about one of the better shooters we saw when it comes to younger prospects, Gunter is one that will find his name on that list. Though he is one of the younger prospects on the roster, he shows that he isn’t afraid to step up to the challenges and show that he can produce for his team. He has tremendous confidence in his ability to get to his spots and stretch the floor with his perimeter shot-making ability, and has he consistently hit threes throughout the weekend. Gunter’s ability to knock down shots should certainly allow him to get get playing time.
2028 Aaron Parker (SE Raleigh)
Parker is another young prospect in the Class of 2028 that you should be putting your eyes on earlier rather than later. At 6’4 already at his age, he has consistently made strides in adding to his game as well as understanding in what he can provide at his age. He is a long, athletic guard who excels in getting downhill and making plays. He has a natural feel for the game but also possesses that upside that can make him a strong prospect in the coming years if he continues to develop.
2029 Kaedyn Cole (Grace Christian (Sanford))
We head into the Class of 2029 but we are also talking about a young prospect that we have spoken about in the past and believe that he is just starting his story. Cole has tremendous size at his age, as the young big man really shows flashes with his impact both offensively and defensively. He doesn’t always have to be impactful as a scorer, as he clearly understands early on that he can be effective as a rim protector and rebounder for his team. But he is also showing clear upside in being able to battle down low with touch and comfort in stepping out at times.
