2027 Aaden Bruton-Smith (Upward Stars)
Bruton-Smith grabbed the attention of our scouts this past weekend with his overall play, impacting the game in so many ways and being a presence both offensively and defensively. He is a 6’5 athletic prospect that brings good bounce and length that allows him to flourish on both sides of the court. He has a smooth release with his shot, can create space and get to his spots with a fluid shot, and finds ways to attack and finish at the rim. Bruton-Smith plays with a great motor overall and is one who has proved his impact on the defensive end as well. He will be a name to watch more in South Carolina this summer.
2026 Pavlo Markiv (Team Vision)
Markiv is another player that we have learned more about from with what he showed at the Phenom Challenge. He is a 6’8 forward that plays hard and with a tremendous motor, displaying the will to battle in the paint on either side of the court. Offensively, Markiv attacks the glass, finishes strong and through contact in the paint, and just makes hustle plays that allow his team to find success. He showed that he can be a strong scoring option down low, runs the floor, and is ok to do the dirty work for his team. Markiv will be one to watch all summer long and could be a sneaky prospect for college programs.
2028 Tjay Brunson (1of1 Elite)
Brunson was a new name personally for me, but after watching him throughout the event, he will be a name to watch more and see how he develops. The 6’5 young prospect really impressed with his comfort level from a variety of levels, and you have to love his motor on the court. He is coming off a strong freshman season at Cleveland HS, averaging nearly 7ppg and 7rpg, and he gave us an even better preview of what’s to come down the road. Brunson surprised us with his multi-level scoring ability, scoring inside and running the floor, but also stretching the floor with his three-point shooting. You add that to his energy on the glass, his athleticism both offensively and defensively, and his willingness to compete all over the floor.
2027 Cash Hall (Elite 1)
Hall was fun to watch all throughout the event, and he has been having a strong start to the travel ball season. When you watch Hall, you have to be impressed with his ability to create for himself, keeping defenders guessing, creating space, and showing the ability to get defenders off balance to attack or to knock down shots. He creates well off the bounce, embraces contact well, and has terrific range. Hall is crafty with the ball in his hands and can fill it up in a hurry, as he will be a player to watch all summer long.
