There is a ton of non-shoe circuit talent within North Carolina right now and New Light Disciples is arguably the best team of them all. They opened this game with their typical no-nonsense fashion and only continued to keep their foot on the gas as the game carried onward. Jamarii Thomas and Trent McIntyre are the ultimate tone-setters for this group, given the way they defend with ferocity and lead by example on offense. Kuluel Mading continues to be a game-changing defensive presence, Isaiah Ray adds a nice scoring punch, and Tyler Young is able to dominate as a rebounder even when his offense isn't rolling like normal. That being said, this entire team should have college coaches of all levels buzzing, as they genuinely have something for everyone. The Greensboro Warriors Unsigned Seniors were also exceptional from start to finish and certainly made them earn this one, but New Light Disciples edged it out down the stretch with a score of 75-70.
