During this offseason, it provides some new names coming into the HoopState of North Carolina and Phenom Hoops wants to get to know them as soon as possible.

One name that recently announced would be reclassifying and heading to North Carolina is 6'2 RaSean McMiller, a guard that is coming from Chicago.  Now the rising junior from Rich Central high school in Illinois, McMiller led the team in scoring at 12.5 points per game and already holds a Division I offer.

Now joining new head coach Antonio Lowe at Winston Salem Christian, he looks forward to the challenge of showcasing his talent in North Carolina and learning from one of the best.

'I'm looking toward to increasing my overall game and playing under one of the best high school coaches in North Carolina and him getting me ready for the high-major level, as well as just being around the other guys coming in,' McMiller told Phenom Hoops.

So, what will he be able to bring to the team with his talents'  McMiller would describe his game as a scrappy, athletic guard that can shoot the mid-range shot but also get to the rim as well.  He also likes to be that defensive threat for his team.  His strengths on the court are being able to create for himself, use his strength, and showcase his athleticism.

As far as what he is continuing to work on this offseason, he is looking to be able to score at the third level with expanding his range better from the three-point line, as well as continuing to develop his overall IQ and feel for the game.

McMiller sounds like a perfect for what Coach Lowe wants to help run his offense and the rising junior will have his chances to shine and earn more attention from college coaches.  Right now though, he holds an offer from Detroit but other schools certainly have him on their radar.

McMiller will be one of many that will headline Coach Lowe's team this year and coming from Chicago and now playing in North Carolina, he looks to be yet another talent that will be looking to make his mark in the HoopState.
