Moving on in the day, Northside Christian and Crossroads Christian were up next, as they were looking to be crowned champions in the 1A Division. Northside Christian came out with a ton of energy early and was able to maintain that for much of the first half. They were active defensively, created multiple turnovers, and allowed their defense to turn into offense. Northside was able to jump out to take a 13-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and built upon that to take a 27-15 halftime lead.
Crossroads Christian though came out and started to get a little success offensively in the second half, slowly cutting into the deficit but Northside Christian was able to answer right back. The guard play and transition play was a key piece in this game, as Northside was able to build their lead back up to double-digits by the end of the third quarter.
Northside Christian continued its attack with their excellent guard play, eventually building their lead to over 20 points in the fourth quarter and they never looked back, as Northside Christian was able to secure the 1A title in impressive fashion.
