Rocky Mount vs. West Rowan

On the girl's side of the NCHSAA Playoffs, fans will have another treat as two of the top teams meet up in hopes of taking home a state title. West Rowan comes in undefeated and has been dominant all season long, while Rocky Mount has been right there and just as dominant as well.

These two teams can absolutely get it done on both sides of the court. West Rowan comes in averaging nearly 74 points per game, but has been incredible on the defensive end, giving up just under 30 points per game. Rocky Mount has been averaging 66 points per game and has only been giving up 25 points per game. So it will be interesting to find success against each defense.

Caroline Thiel, Nyla Powell, and others all have been playing well and look to lead the charge for Rocky Mount, while Lauren Arnold and company have been consistent and strong, as they bring a nice balanced attack to the court.  It will be interesting to see who can impact the game defensively and continue to find success offensively, in what should be an all-out battle.
