#9: 5’7 ’18 Jace Goldman (Dunn, NC)

Jace Goldman is a team first player that loves getting his teammates involve. He shoots it well from deep. He is very quick and able to defend. What I like about Jace is that he knows who he is and with his high IQ for the game he doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. Coach Harold Cone on Jace Goldman: “Most unselfish player with a great attitude. He is a very good shooter and has a pass first mentality. Needs to sure up his ball handling skills to complete his game.”

#32: 5’9 ’20 Clifton Settles (Laurinburg, NC)

Clifton is a young guard that will have plenty of time to continue to develop his game. He is a very good ball handling and has nice range on his jump shot. He was able to get to the basket very well with his solid penetration ability. Another part that sticks out about his game was he’s footwork. Does a great job of staying in front of the person he is guarding. Harold Cone on Clifton Settles: “He was a solid all-around player. Has a very good handle and range on his shot. Very good in transition and getting his teammates involved. As he continues to develop his handles and his body, he will be a very good ball player.

#49: 5’10 ’20 Ethan Pegram (Stokesdale, NC)

Ethan made quite name for himself in camp of knocking down wide-open shots. He knocked down three three-pointers in his second game at Phenom. He has a very good IQ and know how to spread the floor and hunt for his shots. Would like to see him work on his dribble penetration to round out his game. This will help set up nice jump shot. Coach Harold Cone on Clifton Settles: “Ethan is a dead eye shooter with a high basketball IQ. Once mother-nature catches up with his body he is going to be a very good player.” Ethan was a good team player and very coachable.

#72: 6’0 ’20 Marcus Boykin (Clinton, NC)

Marcus did a great job of attacking the rim all day at Phenom. He was in double figures in to of his games scoring 10 points in his 1st game and in his 3rd game he had 11 points. He is able to finish with either hand once he gets to the rim. He has a nice strong handle but needs to continue to work on his jump shot to be a better prospect. Coach Harold Cone on Marcus Boykin: “This id is a tough nose defender and penetrator. He gets to the basket and can finish consistently. Has to improve on his three point shooting.”

#89: 6’0 ’19 Tynias Peace (Raleigh, NC)

Tynias was the MVP of his second and third game of the day scoring 19 points in both games. He was able to average a team high 15.7 points a game. Tynias has a nice body that is able to finish through contact. He did not back down to any challenges all day. The bigger the game the better he played. Does a great job of getting to the basket and finishing. He’s a solid defender and rebounds well for his size. Coach Harold Cone on Tynias Peace: “This kid is the total package. Played tough defense and he penetrates really well to get to the basket. Has a football player kind of build. A few more inches in height and he will be special.”

#112: 6’1 ’20 Drew Patterson (Weddington, NC)

Drew is a player that has a good IQ. He has a lot of talent that he is still learning to use. He is a very quick guard that shoots the three ball fairly well. He has great footwork and does a very good job moving without the basketball. His coach would like to see him focus more on the defensive end where he things he has the potential to be a lockdown defender. Coach Harold Cone on Drew Patterson: ”Drew is a point guard with a nice three point shot. Very unselfish and dishes the ball on the break. Next stage of his development is working on his defense and becoming a lock down defender. “

#129: 6’2 ’20 Jacob Hukins Jr. (Knightdale, NC)

Jacob has a good feel for the game and great court awareness. He has a good attitude and very coachable. Because of his High IQ his camp coach was able to teach him things and he caught on really quick. He did a great job of keep the defense guessing with hitting jump shots and being able to put the ball on the floor penetrate to get guys open looks. He is a very unselfish player. Scored in double figures with 13 points in the first game. Coach Harold Cone on Jacob Hukins: “Steady ball handler and a true point guard. He did a great job of opening down open threes. He also can penetrate and dish to open teammates to get easy scores. Would like to see him get strong to do a better job of finishing through contact.”

#152: 6’1 ’18 Trajen Wood (Durham, NC)

Trajen is a talented three level scorer. He was able to score 12 points and 13 points in his first two games. He can was able to keep defenders at bay with his nice pull up jumper. He does a good job of playing with in team. He is a very good passer that don’t mine making the extra pass for a better shot. Coach Harold Cone on Trajen Woods: “This kid is a flat out shooter. Reminds me of an Austin Rivers type of player and he has the size for a shooter in high school. I want him to work on getting stronger and continue to work on his ball handling skills.” High praise come from Coach Cone who is one of the best AAU coaches in the area.

#192: 6’7 ’21 Tymon Szymanski (Rabun Gap, GA)

Tymon is great rim runner that was able to beat his defender down the floor repeatedly for easy finishes at the rim. Likes to play on the perimeter a lot but has the size to be able to go in the paint to do some damage. He moves well without the ball in his hands and shoots the ball well from around the free throw line. Coach Harold Cone on Tymon Szymanski: “Wow! This kid can rim run and finish at the rim. Moves so well without the ball. Next step in his development is moving his game inside to the paint. Scary that this kid is only a freshman.”

#216: 6’9 ’20 Myles Evans (Raleigh, NC)

You just can’t teach size and this kid has it. Myles is 6’9 kid that runs the floor like a deer. He does a good job on the glass and he handles the ball well for his size. He can get out and transition run the break. Did a good job of penetration and getting the ball to the open teammate. His Phenom coached raved about his ability to listen and execute. Coach Harold Cone on Myles Evans: “Miles is a 6’9 lefty that can shoot and run the floor. He can defend the post and control the boards. He does a good job of rebounding the ball and starting the break. He has a great attitude and overall good young man.”
