2022 All Tournament Team: Below

7’0 Patrick Wessler (Butler High School)

Patrick Wessler stellar play earned him the prestigious MVP Award. Wessler averaged 20 PPG and was dominant on both ends of the court. In addition, he has an unbelievable attitude and we were impressed with his “team first’ approach, not to mention he is an absolutely high character young man.

6’5 Elijah Gray (Carmel Christian)

The development of Elijah Gray has been quite noticeable. He has gotten stronger, leaner, more athletic, and most importantly more confidence as a player. We’re talking about a young player that is physically mature with a college ready frame. There’s no question Gray has a tremendous upside and at the NC Phenom 150 camp, he showcased his overall skill set on both ends of the court, whether it was scoring, rebounding or simply making hustle plays. Gray “inside/out play” 'on the offensive end of the court allowed him to be one of the camp’s leading scorers with a 19.5 PPG.

6’3 Kris Mickens (West Forsyth High School)

One thing is crystal clear, you won’t and don’t have to teach/coach effort with Kris Mickens. We were impressed with his full throttle approach to the game and how hard he played on both ends of the court. Mickens was especially effective going downhill and got out in transition repeatedly. Mickens quietly went about his business and went on to be one of the camp’s leading scorers by averaging 19 PPG.

6’3'Drew Watkins (Northwest Guilford High School)

Drew Watkins impressed us with his solid and methodical approach to the game. We’re talking about a fundamentally sound, high IQ and super productive player on the court. Watkins has outstanding touch, range and mechanics that allowed him to constantly knock down perimeter shots. not to mention he was very efficient from the 3-point line.

5’11 Isaiah Tate (Kings Mountain High School)

Isaiah Tate has a unique ability to balance out his role as the team’s floor general as well as being able to lead the team in scoring points. The scrappy, tough, gritty and athletic point guard had a terrific overall day. He was brilliant in distributing the rock to open teammates with precise and timely passes and equally could score anywhere on the court.
