No. 4 4'9 '23 Amari Evans (Elgin, SC)

Amari is a commander and chief on the court as he leads by example. He is a vocal leader as he attempts to keep the team organized on both ends of the court. Amari is able to use both hands effectively and finishes well in traffic. He plays with a high motor and has little to no fear for his size and grade. More importantly, Amari is a great teammate and plays well within the team structure. You can always count on Amari to give maximum effort on the court.

 

No. 10 4'11 '22 Casian Richard (Winston-Salem, NC)

Without question, Casian plays with confidence and poise. He's a great leader on the court. From the time he enters the gym, Casian let's you know he has game! He has the 'it' factor and moxy that is rarely seen for someone his age/grade. Casian has a high basketball IQ along with an advanced skill set. He excels at ball handling and has excellent court vision. In addition, Casian plays with a high motor and gives equal effort on the defensive end of the court as the offensive end.

 

No. 16 5'0 '22 Tommy Tindal (Sumter, SC)

Big game in a small package is the best to describe Tommy Tindal. He showed an eagerness to learn and was very coachable. He is a pass first PG and has good court vision. His quickness is definitely a strong attribute and his ability to make shots around the basket was really good. Tommy demonstrated a great attitude throughout the day and great maximum effort and played well within the team structure.

 

 

No. 19 5'1 '22 Parker Hodgson (Raleigh, NC)

Parker is still new to the game, but showed good promise. His talent level was impressive for his age/grade. At first, Parker showed some hesitation on his shot but gained confidence as the day progressed. He did rebound well for his size and anticipated missed shots and simply had a 'nose' for the ball. The next step in his development is to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the court.

 

No. 38 5'4 '23 Thomas Perez (Columbia, SC)

Thomas has good athleticism and quickness and used it effectively on both ends of the court. He is an excellent team player and moved extremely well without the ball. We were impressed with his team first approach and did all the little things that are important for teams to be successful. He rebounded well, and was very active with defensive pressure. More importantly, Thomas demonstrated a terrific attitude throughout the day.

 

No. 43 5'4 '21 Roberty McCray (Columbia, SC)

Roberty plays the game with passion and an attitude that lets everyone now that he's ready to work. He played with a very high motor accompanied by a solid basketball for his age/grade. Roberty is a passer friendly PG that looks for his teammates. More importantly, Roberty is an intense defensive player and uses his strong presence on the defensive end of the court to kick-start his offense. In addition, Roberty did so many things well on both ends of the court. He's definitely one to monitor over the course of his middle school career.

 

No. 48 5'4 '21 Shane Blakeney (Rock Hill, SC)

Shane has a nice combination of quickness and basketball IQ. He has excellent lateral quickness and active hands on the defensive end of the court. Offensively, he moved well without the ball and also showcased solid ball handling skills. Shane used his quickness and ball-handling ability to dribble penetrates and also kicks out to open shooters during the course of the day.

 

 

 

No. 70 5'8 '21 Jazian Gortman (Columbia, SC)

It's easy to see that Jazian has a love for the game. He plays with passion and has an extremely high motor. Jazian is very active on both ends of the court and showcased a high basketball IQ. He impressed us with his ability to stay 'one step' ahead of his teammates and opponents showed that he has knowledge of the game. He was very effective throughout the day with dribble penetration and finishing at a high rate. In addition, he should have the ability to be a productive and exciting player at the high school level.

 

No. 89 5'10 '21 Shanye Monsanto (Columbia, SC)

Playing with a high motor was definitely one of Shayne's strongest attributes on the court. He gives effort and energy on both ends of the courts and had little to no problem finishing consistently at the rim. We were impressed with his defensive intensity and his lateral quickness. The next step in his development is to embrace and trust his teammates more on the offensive end. He has all the physical tools to be an effective player at the high school level.

 

No. 102 5'11 '21 Malachy McGuirt' (Rock Hill, SC)

Malachy has good size and athletic ability for his age/grade. He knocked down the midrange jumper throughout the day and finished on both sides of the rim. We were impressed with his outstanding attitude and willingness to work hard to achieve his and the team's goals. In addition, he was a great teammate and performed at a high level. Malachy has a bright future if he continues to work hard on his game and could be a force at the high school level.
