The latest rankings for 2026 in North Carolina have been released from Phenom Hoops, as this is a loaded class of talent for a variety of levels. There are plenty of familiar names that you will see, but here are a few players that I’m eager to see more and to see if they could see an uptick this upcoming season.

2026 Rankings: https://www.phenomhoopreport.com/2026-north-carolina-rankings-watch-list/

2026 6’9 Julian Adigun (Greensboro Day)

Adigun is a player that I would really keep my eye on and see what he might show because the talent and intrigue are there at 6’9 but he has to stay healthy.  But from what we saw this summer, Adigun has a lot of factors in his game that should grab the attention of college coaches. He has the size and length that allows him to be effective inside and on the boards, but also has the fluidity and comfort level in being able to stretch the floor.  If everything goes well and he can stay on the court, Adigun could be that sneaky prospect who could continue to rise up the rankings.

2026 6’4 Jaiquan “Toot” Clay (High Point Christian)

A player that I’ve enjoyed watching and plays bigger than listed, it has been evident that Clay has continued to put in the work and add more to his game. Clay is listed at 6’4 but plays bigger with his athleticism and can be really effective in his ability to score around the basket, showcase his bounce to impact the game, and is one that plays hard. Clay’s ability to consistently do a little bit of everything and affect all facets of the game is a huge part of what makes him so valuable.

2026 6’8 Tyler Brown (Ambassador Christian)

Brown has a lot of potential and we are eager to see if he continues to tap into what he is capable of showing. He has a nice blend of size, fluidity, and athleticism that allows him to make plays at the rim, run in transition, and alter shots defensively, but he is one that could continue to add more to his game as he gets stronger.  Brown has a tremendous opportunity to help man down low at his new school, and his recruitment/ranking could continue to rise if he taps into more of his game.

2026 6’1 Ty Graham (Bull City Prep)

A player that has made himself noticeable this summer has been Graham; he was a player that many didn’t know about but he clearly proved to us that he could be a sneaky prospect to watch out for. As a smaller guard, Graham has really shown his ability to be a dynamic offensive weapon that plays with quickness and creativity but also can hurt you big-time from the perimeter.  He has shown us on several occasions that he can fill it up and be a game-changer for his team.

2026 6’8 Dylan Twitty (Thomas Jefferson)

Twitty is another player that I would keep an eye on and could see his ranking increase the more we watch him and the more he develops. Right now, he understands what is needed from him and has no issue in being that dominant presence on the boards as well as a physical presence against opponents.  Twitty still has room for growth offensively and he has shown flashes, but if he can tap into more of his game, he could be a sneaky prospect to watch out for in the Class of 2026.
