From Phenom Hoop Report VA Top 80 Camp:

#59 6’ 2017 Gabriel Dickerson of Alliance Christian (Portsmouth, Va)
Dickerson was a team first player at the point. He handled the ball very well, keeping the ball out of danger, and he played great transition defense. Dickerson’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Gabriel handled the ball well. He is quick and carried a great attitude as a team mate. He’s a good point guard.”

AAU Team: Boo Williams – Russell 17U

AAU Coach Evaluation: Athletic guard plays on both ends of the floor. Very active strong player never quits. Can get to the cup at will and finishes. Knows how to get his teammates involved. Court vision. Very good passer. Strong point. Lock down defender, he takes pride in his defense. And he is getting better every day! – Coach Harvey Chicot, Boo Williams AAU

Coach Frank says: Gabe is an elite athlete, quick, bouncy and strong. His strength is his ability to breakdown defenders and attack the basket. He’s a crafty playmaker, is an excellent finisher, plays above the rim! He can knock down the mid range jumper or score from beyond the arc, has a nice array of dribble moves and a quick tight handle. Gabe has produced at either guard position as he couples his ability to score with excellent vision and passing skills. He’s a very competent lead guard! Gabe is a tireless defender, has a great motor and the ability to lock down baseline to baseline. I look for Gabe Dickerson to establish himself among the top playmakers in the area this season as he will enjoy a larger role with Alliance Christian Academy as he will lead a young but talented group. College coaches should have him on their watch list in 2016!
