The season is inching closer and closer here in North Carolina, as we get ready for another season of high school basketball.  One player that will be must-see TV not only just in North Carolina but nationally will be 2024 Sarah Strong, as she is coming off a huge sophomore season in which she averaged nearly 26 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and three blocks per game, leading the charge for Grace Christian on their way to a state championship last year.

Strong also had a terrific summer, leading the way for Lady Strong 2024 and also getting a chance to represent her country in USA Basketball 3×3.

When watching her game, it is easy to see why she is regarded as one of the top players in the country with her skill set and how she can be used on the court.  At times, she looks like a cheat code, as she shows the ability to be a huge dominant presence down in the post but also stretches the floor with her ball handling, her shot-making capability, and her ability to be a playmaker at 6’2.

It is easy to see why she is such a priority for schools all around the country; she is simply a program-changer.  Though she still has time until she heads off to college, it will be interesting to see what she can do once again for Grace Christian, as they look for yet another title with Strong leading the way.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch this talented prospect, make sure you get out there this upcoming high school season.

What Has Been Said:

“There was plenty of talent all throughout the courts in Concord but the player that grabbed our attention quickly and showed why she is ranked as one of the top players in the country was 2024 Sarah Strong.  She was simply off the charts with her skillset and how dominant she can be on the floor.  To put it simply, she couldn’t be stopped and did whatever she wanted on the floor. Her feel around the basket is superb, she has great hands with soft touch, is all over the glass on both sides of the court, and she physically can dominate opponents in the post.  Then you add her ability to step out and knock down shots from multiple levels, her ability to handle, and her passing, Strong is the complete package and there is a reason why she holds countless offers from high major programs.”

“Strong came in as one of the premier prospects in the event and she showed why quickly.  She is such a skilled forward with a tremendous feel for the game at her age.  She gets great position down in the paint, soft touch, and is extremely skilled with her passing and ball-handling.  Even gave us a glimpse of her outside shot, as that looked pretty good as well.”
