This past weekend, Patrick O'Brien was invited to come check out ESPN's Paul Biancardi elite camp at Cannon high school, where several young prospects stood out with their play.

First, we want to thank Paul for allowing us to come check out the camp and it was also a chance to get a few more looks at some elite talent from around the area.  Here are just a few nationally recognized names, along with others, that stood out at the camp.

2022 6'10 Handje Tamba

Tamba was one of the bigger talents at the camp and has a ton of potential as he continues to develop his overall game.  Already holding an offer from Auburn, Tamba displayed great touch around the rim, using his length and mobility well.  He has a soft touch but finishes strong down low.  Tamba still looks to develop on stepping out and being a threat with a mid-range, as he is still raw in that area but there are a lot of intangibles coaches should like with his game.

2022 6'5 MJ Rice

Rice was simply outstanding with what he showed at the camp.' Beforehand, many looked at Rice with his frame and build as he could physically dominate opponents.' But if you haven't seen Rice in a while, his game has continued to grow in a big way.' Initiating the offense, knocking down from three and mid-range jumpers, as well as take over with his physicality, Rice is rounding out his game in a big way.' The sophomore is dominant on both ends of the floor and showed why he is one of the top prospects in 2022.

2022 6'2 Zocko Littleton Jr.

You have seen his highlights but one doesn't get a good understanding of just how good this guard is.  The biggest takeaway from what we saw on the court was his ability to score the ball, especially with his ability to knock down shots.  His pull-up was deadly; from three and mid-range, Littleton Jr. consistently scored at a high rate.  That doesn't mention his ability to play on and off the ball, as well as his vision and ability to read defenses.

2022 6'3 Jaden Bradley

It isn't hard to see why Bradley is considered one of the, if not the, top point guard in the country.' What is so intriguing to watch with Bradley is his understanding of the game at a young age.' He goes by the nickname 'Silk,' which is a good way to describe his game; silky smooth.' Quietly, Bradley just makes so many positive plays with the ball in his hands.' He understands and sees the floor incredibly well, having no issue in finding his teammates open but also having that mindset to go get a bucket when needed.' He lets his game speak for him and trust us, it was quite impressive.

2022 6'7 Massai Graham

This is the first time getting to watch Graham and there is a lot of intrigue.  He can be looked at as a combo guard or as a wing prospect but one thing is for sure, Graham brings incredible athleticism to the court.  He uses that bounce to be a difference-maker on offense and defense.  Graham can rise up over defenders and finish strong but also can be disruptive on the defensive end.  He still is working hard in continuing to develop his overall offensive game and as he does, Graham will be catching the attention of fans and coaches.

2023 6'7 Mekhi Grant

It is hard to believe when you look at the size and length of Grant that he is only a freshman.' Grant checks off a lot of boxes early on.' He is athletically gifted and screams versatility on both ends of the floor.' Grant has a nice blend of strength as well as being smooth on the floor, while also being able to defend multiple positions on the court.' This young man is only scratching the surface and will be a big name in the state of North Carolina in the coming years.
