Bond is known for his nasty mid-range game. He loved getting into the seams and making magic happen, but don’t sleep on his ability from deep with 37 percent clip. He can mix it up effectively on the boards, but Thatcher is an outstanding defender. He was a steady competitor in the summer session and elevated his skills nicely. Bond’s biggest improvement over the summer was his perimeter defense.
Last season, he played varsity as a freshman which is a testament to his skills. And in limited minutes he still made an impact with 6pts, 3.3rebs, and 1.2stls per game. He wants to be that defensive engine that drives that team, as well as increase his assist-to-turnover ratio. That highlights a high offensive IQ.
