The second day of our sixth annual Hoops and Dreams Showcased continued with another notable matchup between Millbrook and Richmond. Both squads sport loaded rosters and several college prospects of varying levels, so the stage was set for an exciting battle. However, Richmond had other plans, as they mounted a 19-3 lead through the opening eight minutes of play. Their group effort was on full display (and carried through the second quarter), resulting in a lopsided 32-12 halftime score. Following the break, Millbrook looked like an entirely different group. They started getting the ball to their key pieces and chipping away at the deficit and cutk it down to eight, before Richmond closed things out to secure a 70-59 victory.
