Quate McKinzie is a very athletic forward for Harrells Christian and the Buffalo commit will certainly have the attention of Millbrook in the final game of the event. He really showed what he could do against quality opponents this past summer for Phenom at the CP3 Event in July. He is strong, athletic, and really can get up there with the best of them.

McKinzie has a 7’ foot wingspan and a 35” or more vertical. He can score with ease at times and is great rim protector and rebounder for his team, an area in which he led his team in last year. Last year, McKinzie led his team in scoring, averaging 16.8 points per game, while grabbing 10 rebounds per game, 1.1 assists, 2.3 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game. He certainly could duplicate that stat line again this year with another stellar senior year.

McKinzie is one of the better forwards in North Carolina and a solid low presence that is a can’t miss kind of guy in the state.

It will be interesting to see what he can do against Millbrook, a strong team that will certainly have their eye on him at all times down low in the paint.
