Christian Brown

6'7' 2019 Christian Brown
AC Flora (Columbia, SC)

Christian Brown is an elite ball player, in fact he is ranked as one of the top 15 players in the sophomore class … in the country.

Brown is as unique a person as he is a player. Last season, as a freshman in high school, Brown was the leading scorer for the 3A SCHSL State Champion winning AC Flora. He averaged 15 points per game. In the classroom, Brown carries close to a 4.0 grade point average. Christian even sites Social Studies and Ancient Cultures as his favorite subject in school, why…because he likes to learn about thing which happened in the past.

Leading into Brown's freshman year at AC Flora, Phenom Hoops went to an open gym at AC Flora. Walking out of that 2015 open gym we wrote, 'While he is the youngest player on the team, he is also perhaps the best basketball prospect in the entire state of South Carolina. 6'7' Freshman Christian Brown has special written all over him. He is gifted with easy athleticism put on a long, broad shouldered 6'7' frame. He has the ability to handle in the half court, the confidence to speak up in the huddle, and most impressively the work ethic to improve each time on the court. Brown works his tail off, and is a national level Top 100 type recruit. The sky is the limit for this one.'

Currently ESPN has Christian Brown ranked number 10 in the county and 247Sports, and each have Brown ranked as the number 14 player in the country. He was also invited to Team USA trials this year. Coming into Phenom's Millbrook Showcase, Brown is the second highest ranked player to play in the event (Dennis Smith was a Top 5 prospect in 2014.

AC Flora will have a barn burner of a matchup with West Florence. AC Flora and West Florence are 2 of the 5 highest ranked public schools in South Carolina this year. Brown, and his wing running mate James Reese (committed to Buffalo), will have a great matchup as they face Top 100 wing Sharone Wright Jr and 2-time All State performer Jalen Cameron.

Brown currently has 15 offers, from the likes of Kansas, South Carolina, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, and others. As one of the Top recruits in the country Brown is certain to continue seeing his recruitment soar.

You should make it out to watch him play this Saturday, December 3, at Millbrook High School in Raleigh…You'll be watching one of the nation's best.
