The final contest of Phenom Hoops’ City of Oaks Classic took place between Louisburg and the hosting North Raleigh Christian Academy. Although Louisburg has lethal bucket-getter Elijah Jamison, it didn’t seem to affect NRCA’s approach to this contest. They spread the floor, moved the ball, and worked to overwhelm the opposition with efficient three-point shooting. It worked extremely well for the first quarter and then Jamison started to heat up. Despite this, NRCA still found a way to balance their scoring across the entire team and walked into halftime with a 34-29 lead.

The second half opened up with more of the same, as Jamison and Jordan Durham continued to carry the offensive load for Louisburg while NRCA did their damage by working the ball around and seeking out the best available shot. Corey Jones, Braeden Miller, Ethan Beatty, and Joshua Rogosich were extremely reliable at scoring with efficiency and knocking down open jumpers. Will Nepa also altered the game with his phenomenal hustle and nonstop two-way motor. As competitive as this game was, Louisburg turned things around down the stretch and ultimately claimed a 65-57 victory over NRCA.
