There are several programs around the country that seem to have players that fly under the radar each and every year.  However, Liberty Heights is a program that is much more than just a player or two… this is a program that runs deep with talent and one that should have college coaches, of all levels, flocking to watch.

We recently wrote a piece about Liberty Heights head coach Mike Wright, a coach that is all about one goal in mind… getting his kids into school.  Whether it is before practice, after practice, or long drives to play in premier events, Coach Wright is always looking to make his players better and get them seen.

The passion that he and his players have for the game can be seen, as this is a program that has an array of talent that has proven time and time again that they can play at the next level.  When watching this team on the court, you have players with length and versatility, shooters, glue-type players, and winners.  These are just a few names that should be attracting college coaches’ eyes.

2020 6’9 Tay Williams: Forward with length, athleticism, and the ability to play multiple positions. He can step out and showcase his ball skills as well as his explosiveness/speed around the rim.

2020 6’5 Kam Edwards: Knockdown shooter, plays with a high IQ and can play with a physical force with a great frame.  Shows a consistent shooter from three and can rebound well.

2020 6’6 Kahari Rogers: Rogers has tremendous length and versatility on the floor.  His ability to rise up over defenders with his jumper and has an ideal size from the perimeter with a quick trigger.

2020 6’7 Dominique Davidson: Such a physical prospect around the rim that can carve out space and finish through contact.  Plays with a great motor and energy.

2020 6’9 Jemal Davis: Another versatile forward that can play inside and out, runs the floor well, and has tremendous ball skills.  His ability to impact scoring and rebounding, as well as defend multiple positions is fun to watch.

2020 6’2 Antonee Abraham: He does a great job distributing and finding his teammates in scoring positions.

You also have 2020 6’5 Devin Gordon, 2020 6’5 Trevaughn Booker, and 2020 6’2 Jeremy Baker on this team.

To put it simply, this is a program that goes under the radar on so many levels but has talent at all levels that can make a positive impact for a program.  Liberty Heights comes out to compete and continues to prove to everyone that they are the real deal.  And with Coach Wright and his staff leading the way, they continue to show why their players belong at the next level.

Now, it is time to start recognizing…
