2025 Brian Carr (Rocky River)

Carr was a key piece for his team at the event, as he brings a good blend of size and versatility to the court. He was strong in helping control the paint, displaying good timing on shots and being able to finish around the basket, as well as being an active piece on the boards for his team. Carr helps a lot with his versatility as a defender as well.

2028 Gary Grear (Pine Lake Prep)

He is a young prospect that we have learned more about over the past year but we are eager to see more of how he develops in the coming years. Grear is a name to learn more about in the Class of 2028, as he plays more like an experienced player. He makes good decisions, understands the game well and certain situations, has good positional size that allows him to score inside and be effective from outside, and also is a good passer as well.

2025 Jamari Smith (Ashbrook)

Smith was a huge piece to his team’s success on the court, helping in a variety of areas on the court and playing with maximum energy. He just seemed to have his hands in a variety of areas, competing hard, helping run the show offensively, scoring off the dribble well, knocking down shots in catch-and-shoot situations, and was really engaged defensively. Loved his energy throughout.

2027 MJ Gladden (Statesville)

A new name that I learned about but the pieces are there with his game and he certainly passes the eye test. A 6’3 prospect with a very long wingspan and athleticism, Gladden brings a ton of versatility to the court. He can play multiple positions, uses his length to attack the rim, shows the ability to pull up and knock down shots, and active defender as well. There is a lot of potential in his game and should be an under-the-radar type prospect to watch for.
