Our very own Patrick O’Brien had a chance to head out to Olympic High School to attend what ended up being a terrific event on the girls’ side of things. We had an opportunity to view some of the premier young talents at the GYB Circuit, as it allowed Phenom to get an early view of some premier talent that you will for sure to hear more about down the road.
We will be talking about multiple prospects from the event but one player that quickly caught our attention and is from the state of North Carolina was 2028 5’10 Justice Alexander from Concord Academy. There isn’t a doubt that she will be one of the top talents from the state and could be a name you quickly learn on the national level, as she showed it all at the camp.
Justice is the daughter of De’Angelo Alexander who played at Oklahoma and Charlotte from 2003-2007, and it seems that Justice has learned quite a bit from her father. When watching Alexander, she brings a ton of versatility to the court, really showing her ability to impact the game in all manners. Whether it was her creating off the dribble, creating her own shot, scoring from the paint, showcasing her confident jumper from multiple levels, attacking the boards, or making plays for her teammates, Alexander simply did it all on the court. It was quite impressive to watch for a prospect of her age and it was easy to see that she will be a name many will know about very quickly.
She already owns an offer from Charlotte but her recruitment should really take off quickly in the coming years.
