Phenom Hoops continues to introduce prospects to our readers, and a player to keep an eye on down the road is 2027 6’4 Baboucarr Ann from Maple Grove High School and Howard Pulley.  Ann is one that is young but has potential with his size and impact in a variety of ways. He brings good versatility to the court and yet there is still room for growth, impacting the game offensively in a variety of ways (not just as a scorer) but also impacting the game at multiple positions defensively.  His ability to operate and make plays in a variety of ways and levels is impressive and I’m eager to see more of his development.  He should be regarded as one of the top prospects in the state of Minnesota and should be a target for many schools down the road.

We spoke to him recently about his game and what he is focusing on down the road with his game.

Game Description:

“I would describe my game as a game to win. I think I can impact the game many ways to lead my team to victory from scoring to passing, rebounding, and especially on defense.”

Development:

“I’m going to continue to work on my shot and creating more shots for myself because that’ll open the game up for my whole team. I am very excited about this upcoming season I will have a bigger role on my HS team, and this will help me develop better skills and leadership.”
