Pryor is a high-energy and electric combo guard who is a strong and fierce scoring option. He is lethal from downtown to 40 percent average and can get downhill in a flash with aggressive determination and toughness. Pryor has the physical skills to get it done on the boards as well. Don’t sleep on his defensive swagger, he uses his size and strength to his advantage and is flat-out scrappy. Hard to get away from.
On a loaded Pro One team he ran the show well. His numbers don’t tell the story of his impact. He averaged 10pts, 4rebs, 5asts, and 2stls, but nothing was won without his leadership and grit. Nonstop motor juiced this team, and they could never be counted out with him running the show. This was a big improvement to his game and leadership, learning to adjust and shine within being the best player on the team, while still making a big positive impact. Pryor loves getting his teammates involved and being a good floor general; he was able to thrive in that. But he never ran away from the big moments, being that clutch scoring punch when needed.
Last season, he averaged 22.7pts, 6.8rebs, 2.5asts, and 3stls per game. This year, he plans to repeat his MVP performance and earn that lofty Mr. Basketball while leading his team to the state championship and also establishing himself with another All-State award.
For coaches looking for a floor general who can not only run their team but be a game changer from his position, no one will out-hustle or out-tough this young star. He can do it all in impressive fashion while fueling his team right with him. His fire to compete and win can’t be matched. This is what you can count on from Ty every single game.
