Carolina Basketball Academy Vs Greater Beckley Christian (WV)

Coming into the Jamboree as a virtual unknown by many Carolina Basketball Academy assured that everybody would know their name by the end of the day.  The feature backcourt of 6'5 2019 Gavin Singleton and 6'4 2020 Omar Gardner controlled the game from the opening tip until the final buzzer, creating many highlights along the way.  They're interchangeable positionally, both showing the ability to play on the ball or off, and controlling the pace of the game throughout its entirety.  Look for both Singleton and Gardner to have HUGE recruiting bumps throughout the season as people figure out what they're all about.  6'5 2019 Anahijae Cook showcased his abilities for CBA as well, attacking the rack with purpose, and defending 3-4 positions.  6'5 2020 Jay Moore was one of the bright spots for Greater Beckley Christian, he did a great job finding ways to score in an efficient manner, never making mistakes.

Moravian Prep Vs Grimsley

This Moravian Prep team continues to impress in their 2nd game of the day, physically overpowering Grimsley due to their incredibly size advantage.  Caleb Burgess continued to show that he should be a 10+ offer bonafide mid-major talent with the heart of a lion.  The kid is simply a junkyard dawg that cannot be tamed.  He sets the tone for this talented group in the intensity department.  Players like 6'5 2019 Tomy Wolkowyski showcased what he could do in the win, buying in to the culture they're building at Moravian giving them good productive minutes from the wing.  Grimsley High School did a great job competing despite the mismatch, 6'4 2020 Ahmil Flowers did a great job finishing above the rim, proving himself as a prospect, showing he belonged on the court with the big boys.  Hopefully he can build off of his performance today and carry it into the upcoming season.
