The Albemarle Bulldogs had a strong season last year, eventually finishing the year with a 19-8 overall record and look to be a team to really watch out for this upcoming season with the experience they were able to earn last season.

Last year, Albemarle was a team that was led by mostly freshmen and sophomores… Now, they return for another season with a year under their belt, as the Bulldogs have their eyes on something special. 2025 Amari Baldwin, a 5’2 guard that led the charge at 18.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.5apg, and 7.3spg, returns once again and should be a name you will want to watch more as she could be in for another big season.  2024 Kai Spencer is another player that really anchored around the paint, earning all-conference honors and averaging 8ppg, 9rpg, and 2bpg.  Sophomore Bianca Robinson missed much of the time last year but returns and should be a key piece, while sophomore Jasmine Robinson is back and ready to help lead the way after averaging 11ppg and 9rpg last year.

2024 Riley Davis is a 5’9 guard that can knock down shots and stretch the floor with her range, 2023 Mary Grace Krol brings terrific energy on the defensive end, 2025 Jordyn Crump is a strong presence on both ends with her shot-making and defensive impact, and 2024 Jamirica Everhardt does a little bit of everything on the court.

All of these players return from last year and the Bulldogs have added another piece in 2023 5’6 guard Nyleiah White who transferred in after averaging 15ppg and 7spg.  She should bring even more experience and leadership to the court.

After a season in which they posted 19 wins, it seems that this could just be the start for the Bulldogs as they look to be a strong contender in making even more noise throughout the state.  Watch out for Albemarle this year.
