2024 Molly Burns (Ardrey Kell): Burns was back in action and she was really showing why she is one of the leaders for this team. She did a terrific job in creating off the dribble and making plays; she is quite shifty with the ball in her hands. But she is at her best when she is showing her extreme confidence in knocking down shots from outside, being a big threat from three.
2023 Sarah Evans (Ardrey Kell): Evans had a bounce-back game, setting the tone for her team early and showing her versatility on the court. Evans is a do-it-all type of player that can not only help handle and create but also play off the ball and get her own shot. Whether it was using her 5’11 frame to get downhill or step out to knock down shots, she was extremely productive and impacted the game in all areas of the court.
2023 Alyssa Lewis (Hickory Ridge): Lewis started out slow but got it going in the second half for her team. She is a strong ball-handler on the floor, displaying the ability to create her own shot or also be an effective threat in catch-and-shoot situations. She hit multiple threes in the game but also did a great job getting inside and attacking.
2024 Sheree Gidney (Hickory Ridge): Gidney is a nice piece for her team, bringing size and physicality down in the paint. Gidney showed flashes of how she can impact the game, as she excelled in making her presence felt on the boards. Like her competitive nature and physicality around the basket.
2023 Lauren Brady (Ardrey Kell): Brady had a very solid game for her team. At 6’1, she certainly provides a tough matchup in being a strong presence in the paint on both ends. She displayed good footwork in getting around defenders but also as a rim-protector for her team.
2023 Kirsten Lewis-Williams (Lake Norman): It was just another day at the office for the senior prospect, putting up outstanding numbers once again and leading her team. She plays with such a natural feel for the game, showing that she can impact the game in so many ways. Whether it was scoring in transition and creating, but she also makes so many unselfish plays and plays hard on the boards.
2026 Jeta North (Lake Norman): North is another young prospect to look out for down the road for Lake Norman. She brings great size to the court at 6’1 already, but also showed her ability to be a threat down in the paint finishing over defenders, being strong in the paint on the boards, and blocking a few shots as well. One to really watch for.
2025 Sam Shehan (Lake Norman): Shehan is part of the sophomore duo for Lake Norman that should be a big part of the future for Lake Norman. She is a versatile prospect that moves well without the ball, can score in a variety of ways inside and out, but also fills up the stat sheet with being effective on the boards, seeing the floor and finding teammates, and making plays defensively.
