Class: 2025
School: East Burke
Lady Phenom is continuing to focus on players all around the state, as the talent is running deep throughout. There are plenty of talented prospects out there that deserve recognition, as we dive into players to watch more this upcoming season.
East Burke had a tremendous season, making it all the way to the state championship game last year. One of the main reasons why was the play of 2025 Braelyn Stilwell, a 5’5 prospect who was able to make her impact felt in a variety of ways. In 32 games last year, she was off the charts as an offensive scorer, averaging nearly 23 points per game and scoring in a variety of ways She had her best season by far from outside, finishing the season with 103 made 3-pointers and shooting 53 percent from the floor but also showing she can create and be that playmaker with her handles, creating well and finding ways to attack the defense to get to the line. Stilwell does an excellent job in facilitating, as her stats back that up in nearly averaging seven assists per game while also being a scrappy and active defender, creating opportunities on the defensive end. She is one of the clear leaders on the court, shows craftiness in creating, and plays with a ton of confidence in her ability to knock down shots. Right now, she recently received an offer from Lees-McRae but that could continue to trend in the right way with another strong season.
With Stilwell and others returning this upcoming season, the Cavaliers of East Burke look to certainly be in the spotlight once again this upcoming season.
