Phenom Hoops continues to spot talent on the girls side here in the region and one player that we have watched on several occasions has been 2023 5’10 Kirsten Lewis-Williams. Her play has led the charge at Lake Norman, one of the top teams in the state. And with what we have seen, she should be a target for several programs and a bigger target for many.

When you talk about her game, she does a great job in filling up the stat sheet. She shows her ability to be an impact scorer on the floor, dicing through the defense and creating well off the bounce, but she also does a great job in leading the charge and finding ways to get others involved. Lewis-Williams sees the floor well in transition and also being able to penetrate and dish to find open teammates. She can also be a strong two-way presence, being able to get into the passing lanes and create steals, and turn them into points. Holding already two D1 offers, think there are plenty of other schools that could use a talent like her and should be looking her way.

What Has Been Said:

“Lewis-Williams is a player that should be gaining more traction with college programs. Her ability to make plays all throughout the game is impressive and fun to watch, as she just has a natural feel for the game. She is a playmaking guard that scores extremely well all over, can fill up the stat sheet, and also plays with an unselfish feel.”

“It was just another day at the office for the senior prospect, putting up outstanding numbers once again and leading her team. She plays with such a natural feel for the game, showing that she can impact the game in so many ways. Whether it was scoring in transition and creating, but she also makes so many unselfish plays and plays hard on the boards.”

“Lewis-Williams was quite impressive on the floor, but she has only continued to display her impact when she is on the court.  She can do a little bit of everything on the floor, whether it is run and initiate the offense, find her teammates, create and score for herself, attack and help on the boards, and just be a leader on the court. High IQ prospect that really helps run the show.”

“Lewis-Williams led the charge in a close game on Day 2, as she showed a great and natural feel with the ball in her hands, creating well and finding ways to get around defenders and penetrate. She stayed aggressive all throughout, despite not the best shooting night, putting the pressure on the defense, getting to the line, and creating for herself and others well.”
