This is a team that is coming off one of the best years we have seen, going 31-1 overall before coming just short in the playoffs. But this is a team that is resilient and is ready to make another run at a title. When you look at this roster, there is no doubt that they will be looking to replace the production of Kirsten Lewis-Williams, who filled up the stat sheet in a big way. But Lake Norman has plenty of weapons returning, and it starts with 2025 Alexis Shehan and 2025 Samantha Shehan. Both of them showed that they were offensive forces, and it is now their time to lead the charge. They bring size, scoring ability, and can fill up the stat sheet for this team. 2026 Kelsey Rhyne will be another big weapon, as she had a huge freshman season and showed that she can be one of the biggest threats as a shooter in the state; unlimited range in her game. They also have 2025 Addison Sirianni, who has proven to be a big part of this team’s success. She is a winner, has earned multiple rewards, is one of the best defenders on the team, and also is a key provider on offensively. Now, the development of 2026 Jeta North, 2025 Adason Buoniconti, and others will be huge for this team, as it will only provide more depth and options on the court.
But make no mistake, this is a team that is geared to make another run and has the talent to do just that. They will once again be in the discussion, as Lake Norman will be must-see TV this year.
