2025 Shaymiah Bailey (Walkertown)
Bailey is coming off a dominating season last year for Walkertown, as she helped the Lady Wolfpack earn their first winning season in school history. She was a huge part of that success, as she was ultimately named the 2022-23 Mid-State 2A Conference Player of the Year. And with numbers like she had, it was easy to see. After a strong freshman season, Bailey backed that up with an impressive 18.0ppg, 15.9rpg, and 4.8bpg as she was a dominant presence in the paint. She carves out space, is a monster on the offensive and defensive boards, and is one that can fill it up.
2025 Amya Graham (South Point)
Graham is another player that just knows how to fill it, as she helped South Point reach a .500 record last year. She is one that has been consistent throughout her career so far, averaging a double-double and can be an absolute force on the court. She is able to carve out space on the floor, make her presence felt on the boards, and create scoring opportunities from there. Graham had a season in which she finished averaging 17.0ppg and 14.2rpg.
2024 Jasmine Felton (Northeastern)
What a year this young lady had for this season, and she seems to be carving a name out for herself this summer. The 2024 prospect was something special in her averaging 30.3ppg, 13.5rpg, 7.1spg, and 1.4bpg for Northeastern; she simply did it all and showcased her impact on both sides of the court. She is one that creates well, makes her presence felt and competes on the boards, plays hard defensively, and just knows how to lead. She is one that deserves more attention her way.
2026 Rihanna Hunt (Oxford Webb)
Hunt, who again is coming off only her freshman season, is one that I would keep an eye on. She produced really well as a young prospect last year, doing the dirty work, playing hard and active in a variety of ways, and coming off a season in which she averaged 12.2ppg and 13.0rpg. Lady Phenom had her at our Lady Phenom Top 80, where we had this to say: “She’s a long, mobile, fairly well-rounded post prospect with a high motor and clear understanding of how to make an impact without requiring a ton of touches. Hunt runs the floor hard, finishes well around the basket, and scores effectively out of the post. That being said, she’s arguably even more valuable as a rebounder and rim-protector—where she’s able to control the glass and block shots at a consistent rate.”
