What a day it was at the Lady NC Top 80, as not only was it a great way to showcase the talent around the state but it also kicked off what we hope to bring with Lady Phenom. We want to continue the coverage from the event, as we talk about more players that grabbed our attention.
2026 Autumn Washington is one that you will want to have on your watch list if you don’t already. Though just a young prospect that still has plenty of room to develop, you can see the flashes that she shows with her game and she is getting plenty of experience early on that should help her. She has good size at 5’9, impacts the game in a variety of ways, and shows a lot of potential in what she could be. Washington does a nice job in scoring inside but also making plays off the dribble, she can make her presence felt on the boards, and brings a nice versatile feel to the floor.
Though it may be early, she has had time to really gain knowledge of the game as well as experience, something that will help her down the road as we keep an eye on her development.
