What a day it was at the Lady NC Top 80, as not only was it a great way to showcase the talent around the state but it also kicked off what we hope to bring with Lady Phenom. We want to continue the coverage from the event, as we talk about more players that grabbed our attention.
Utley is a player that we have talked about before and she only continued to showcase her talent once again at the event.' The 5'2 guard was one that competed on both ends all throughout and really impacted the game in several areas.' She is quick on the court, doing a great job in being able to create, get inside the defense, and either finish with touch or kick out to the open teammate.' She also did a nice job in playing hard on the defensive end, allowing her defense to turn into offense at times.'
Overall, really liked her competitive nature, how she competed on both ends, her playmaking ability with the ball in her hands, and her decision-making. She already holds one offer but she should certainly be one that could garner more attention with what she provides and certainly is one to watch this summer.

'It was exciting. Coach called me and said he had some good news for me, then said he knew the potential I had and how I could go far with basketball and to keep pushing. Then after that, he said he wanted to offer me to come play at Cairn University.'
