One of the top prospects in her class, 2026 Autumn Washington has been having a strong summer and has been racking in some impressive offers. Washington was one we highlighted EARLY ON here in North Carolina, and she has only continued to grow and add more to her game. Lady Phenom was able to catch up with her on all the latest, talking more about how her summer went, her focus on her game and the upcoming season, and what schools have been expressing interest her way.

Though just a young prospect that still has plenty of room to develop, you can see the flashes that she shows with her game and she is getting plenty of experience early on that should help her. She has good size at 5’9, impacts the game in a variety of ways, and shows a lot of potential in what she could be. Washington does a nice job in scoring inside but also making plays off the dribble, she can make her presence felt on the boards, and brings a nice versatile feel to the floor.”

Lady Phenom: How did everything go this summer overall for you? How has your game developed?
Washington: Overall, I think the summer went well. I enjoyed playing with my teammates getting better every tournament. This summer, I utilized my jump shot more from mid-range to the three, just becoming more comfortable and consistent.
Lady Phenom: What will be your focus this offseason before the season with your game?
Washington: Continuing to work on my jump shot, being able to catch-and-shoot, along with making different moves into a shot.
Lady Phenom: What is your excitement about this upcoming high school season? What are your expectations for yourself?
Washington: There are many things I’m excited about this season but the thing I’m most excited for is knowing how far this squad is capable of going because we work hard. Before every season, I write down my goals and expectations for myself and my team on my mirror, and every season the first thing I write down is “Be a Dawg” on both ends of the floor every night.
Lady Phenom: What all offers do you hold and what schools have been showing interest your way?
Washington: My offers are Queens, Radford, Winthrop, UNC-Pembroke, Davidson, East Carolina, Appalachian State, Monmouth, and Lafayette. Schools that have been showing interest are Marquette, DePaul, ETSU, Wake Forest, Missouri State, Columbus State, Georgia Tech, UNCW, and Mercer.
Lady Phenom: Any visits set up down the road?
Washington: Nothing right now but very soon.
