Heading up north in our latest Lady Phenom 1-on-1, we recently spoke to 2025 6’1 Aidan Langley from Westtown High School in Pennsylvania, as she has had a very good summer so far when it comes to college programs taking notice her way. She has added double-digit offers since April, and that list could only continue this summer, as we spoke to her more about how it has been going overall for her and the team, more about her game, and a little update on her recruitment.

Lady Phenom: How has everything been going this summer for you and your team'

Langley: I think the summer/beginning of the AAU season has been going pretty well for me and my team. For me, I’ve been playing consistently and using my strengths on the inside and also learning how to get more comfortable playing on the outside to hone my skills more. Our team chemistry has increased since the start of the AAU season. Offensively and defensively, we just understand each other way more and know how to use each other’s strengths and it’s going to get better as the season goes on.

Lady Phenom: How would you best describe your game in how you like to operate and how you impact the game for your team'

Langley: I would describe my game as definitely more towards the inside but can step out when needed. I am most comfortable inside because that’s where I started out when I first started playing 4 years ago, but I am getting more confident stepping out to attack & shoot from the outside if it’s there. I think I impact the game for my team most by my communication with my teammates and leadership, but also scoring/rebounding and finding opportunities for my teammates to also score.

Lady Phenom: What are factors in your game that you are focusing on this summer to develop'

Langley: Some factors in my game I would like to develop is my perimeter defense, I feel as though that’s a weakness in my game so I’m trying to work on my agility and lateral movement. Another thing I want to focus on this summer is my mid-range shot, being off the dribble or a catch-and-shoot one, I feel like that can really add to my game in many ways.

Lady Phenom: What is your mindset early on this summer and heading into the upcoming high school season'

Langley: My mindset is to work extremely hard on my game to get better defensively out to the 3-point line and more consistent overall on both ends of the floor. How are you preparing for that' Offseason workouts and lots of conditioning with my AAU and HS team where I get a chance to challenge myself defensively out at the 3-point line so I really need to work on my agility and lateral movement. I will also continue working on my skills and basketball IQ so I can read and counter much more quickly.

Lady Phenom: What offers do you currently hold'

Langley: Temple, Fairleigh-Dickinson, Rider, College of Charleston, Towson, Colgate, Iona, Robert Morris, UMBC, George Washington, Fordham, Buffalo, and East Carolina.

Lady Phenom: What have the coaches been saying in general that they like about your game and how you can fit'

Langley: Most coaches have told me they like that I can run and stretch the floor. They also mention that I don’t shy away from taking an outside shot if it’s there. But the main part of my game they like is my rebounding and how I use my body in the paint. Coaches usually say I can fit within their playing style with the fact that I can play in and out and I could be a matchup problem at times.

Lady Phenom: What other schools have been showing interest but have yet to offer'

Langley: Providence, St. Josephs, Lafayette, Radford, Siena, Fairfield, Northeastern, and Boston

Lady Phenom: Do you have any visits planned or scheduled' Have you been able to make any visits' and if so, what stood out about each one'

I am talking to schools now about scheduling visits in June. I’ve been on unofficial visits to Temple, Fairleigh-Dickinson, and Fordham. They have all been great in their unique way. The coaching staff for all of them are great and looking forward to learning more about them throughout the process.
