The Lady NC Top 80 and Lady Freshman 40 is quickly approaching, and we are gearing up for what should be a historic day for Phenom Hoops and Lady Phenom. The first of many events on the girl’s side, and we can’t wait to see all the talent on display at the event.

This is why we are looking to bring the best of the best as far as staff. Meet Taisha Murphy, as she has been selected for the Lady NC Top 80. Learn more about her.

She has been around the game of basketball since she was three years old. She graduated in 2025 from Clayton high school before signing at Richmond; she was also an ESPN Top 100 athlete.

She played at Richmond for two years before transferring and graduating from East Tennessee State in 2020 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Coaching and Sports Management. Since Graduating, she has began coaching with Team Curry, she is an assistant at Wake Tech CC, trains kids in the Raleigh-Durham area, and runs Her HoopState.
