Lady Attack Media Day

Phenom Hoops traveled to Indian Trail, North Carolina to cover Lady Attack Media Day. Lady Attack is entering their fifth season and only third season on the Elite level. In speaking with program director, Anthony George, he stated last season nine players off the 17U team signed on to play at the collegiate level, an amazing accomplishment in such a short period of time. This is a tremendous success story and looks for bigger things ahead for the Lady Attack program.''Lady Attack will field seven teams for the 2021 travel ball season and their 'Team Attack Media Day' allowed us to get to know the players on a more individual basis. Now, let's take a closer look at some of the key players with the Team Attack organization.'

6'4 2024 Blanca Thomas (Charlotte Catholic)

It's really hard to imagine that Blanca is only a freshman. She plays for Charlotte Catholic and has enjoyed instant success on the varsity level. She is averaging almost a triple double with 21.5 PPG, 15 RPG, and 7 BPG and has led Charlotte Catholic to an early season 4-2 record. In addition, Blanca sports offers from Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, West Virginian and Western Carolina. In speaking with trainer and Lady Attack coach Randall Clark, he stated the following. 'Blanca is great at running the floor. Naturally, she is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. She continues to work and improve, especially with her face up game.' Look for Blanca to be one of the top players in the state regardless of class.

5'8 2024 Olivia Burke (Porter Ridge)

Olivia Burke is another young prospect to track. She too is a starter on the Porter Ridge varsity team and is having an immediate impact. She is currently averaging 14.6 PPG and 7 RPG. She has good size and athleticism at the guard position. Randall Clark stated, 'Olivia is a lefty that is excellent attacking and finishing at the basket. She is a three-level scorer that combines a blend of advanced skill set and athleticism. In addition, she is quite crafty with the ball in her hands.'

5'6 2024 Delanie Hill (Providence High School)

Delanie is also another freshman enjoying instant success at the varsity level. She is currently averaging 4.5 PPG and 2 PRG and help Providence High School to a 2-0 record before the CMS pause due to COVID. Randall Clark stated, 'Delanie is a coach on the floor. She's an excellent ball-handler and does a really good job of taking care of the ball. She's crafty and can score from all three levels. In addition, she likes to dribble penetrate and make the 'kick out' pass to open teammates.'

5'8 2025 Kamryn Kitchen (Sun Valley Middle School)

Only an eighth grader, Kamryn will be playing up on the Lady Attack Elite 2024 team. Coach Clark stated it best. 'Kamryn definitely has swag and has no idea how good she can be. She is a shifty combo guard that can finish strong at the rim or pull up from deep in transition. Kamryn has a chance to be a special player in the 2025 class.”

4'10 2026 Madison Owen (Arborbrook Christian)

There are times you look at a young player and know they 'just have it' and that is the case with Madison Owen. Only a seventh grader, Madison is playing on the varsity team at Arborbrook and is currently averaging 6.1 PPG. She is highly skilled and has excellent ball handling skills.
