5’10 2019 KJ Marshall is the heartbeat of this Trinity Christian School lineup, this team goes as he does.

Often overlooked on the team that features four division one prospects that garner deserved attention, but when you watch the Crusaders it doesn’t take long to realize Marshall sets the tempo. Marshall is a pass-first floor general with a “Frank Mason” like tenacity to his game.

Marshall is the ultimate x-factor; he can make tough shots off the dribble, Marshall is efficient in the pick n roll his decision making and court vision are big strengths, at 5’10 Marshall is a smaller guard but still pulls his share on the boards.

During our MLK showcase, Marshall was extremely active on both ends, his shot-making ability and constant on-ball pressure helped Trinity overcome a double-digit deficit. Marshall stayed aggressive and remained a consistent presence throughout the contest for the Crusaders. Marshall’s leadership can’t be measured in the box score but his value and what it brings is duly noted amongst the team.

He’s the one that keeps the motor going we feed off him, so if he’s having a bad game we’re all going to start off slow.” Au’Diese Toney said. (Holds offers from Va Tech, VCU, and Unc Charlotte).

“He { Marshall}, is like our emotional leader when he gets going and he’s locked in we’re good,” said Joey Baker (Duke commit).

Marshall is receiving interest from several Division II programs and the junior could be a program pillar for four years. Marshall is all heart and the unsung hero for sure, regardless this dude will continue to bring the noise every time out.
