Coach Eddie Rogosich

Easton Ostert 37, 5'5 West Pine MS, NC, 2021

Easton is a very coachable kid with a lot of talent; scores it on all three levels, high IQ, good team player. Coach Royosia Easton on Easton Ostert: ' is a hard nosed hustle player. He is a very heady player who dribbles with his eyes up. He is a good solid guard who goes to open areas of the court. He can do a lot of things well on offense, like dribble to gaps and pass to the open teammate. His next level of growth will be to learn how to get to the rim to score. He is a great teammate who is very coachable.'

RJ Plyes 38, 5'5 Piedmont MS, NC, 2022

RJ plays the game with so much passion. He is a little raw in some areas but he plays the game with heart and great toughness. He has a lot of intangibles to work with that will round him in to a great basketball player if he continues to work hard; skilled and does a little bit of everything; nice handle, great teammate. Coach Royosia Easton on RJ Plyes: RJ is a very well rounded 7th grade basketball player. He does a lot of things well. I loved his hustle and toughness. He is heady and always gets his teammate involved. The next step for RJ is to work on his scoring ability. He is a very good ball defender. I look forward to seeing RJ as an 8th grader.

Nolan Albright 76, 5'10 Medenhall, NC, 2023

Another player that just needs to play more and get experience. He has some good flashes this weekend that let me know that he has opportunity to play this game. He listens very well to what the coach as about him and that what coaches love. Looking forward to see this kid grow in to game: rebounding is his strong point at this part of his development, team player, coachable player. Coach Royosia Easton on Nolan Albright: As a 6th grader Nolan needs to get more game experience. He is a great teammate who enjoys the game. He is very coachable which will help advance his game during this next year. As he works on his ball handle it will help him improve his confidence.

Kimar Kurnegey 92, 6'0 Riverwood MS, NC, 2021

Kimar already has great size for age and looks like he grow a lot more over the next couple of years. Mr. 'I go hard in the paint': Physical specimen, hustles and runs the floor like a deer, big that can score the ball inside and out. Coach Royosia Easton on Kimar Kurnegey; It is so great to see a post player today that can not only shoot from the outside but he still wants to bang on the inside. Kimar has a great outside shot and he uses his big football built body to bang and score on the inside. He rebounds, passes, hustles and has a great attitude. Kimar is going to make some HS coach very happy. And college coach also.

Quinton Roggins 66, 5'8 Riverwood MS, NC, 2021

Quinton is oozing with potential. At this point of his game he is a shoot guard. He can coach and shoot just as good or better than anyone at camp. He still has areas that he need to polish up on his game that will make him a good player. If he works on his ball handling, he will an intriguing prospect: two way player, High IQ, competitor. Coach Royosia Easton on Quinton Roggins: 'You can tell Quinton loves to play the game. He has a good shot and likes to compete. In our second game he got in a good grove on offense. The next step for Quinton is to work on his ball handling so he can be an efficient 1 or 2 guard. The more he plays the more he will have a fell for the game and be able to reach his potential.'

Jalen Lowrey 44 5'6 Eastway MS, NC, 2021

Jalen is a great change of pace guard that excels in transition; great finisher, nice handle, three level scorer. Coach Royosia Easton on Jalen Lowrey: Jalen has a smooth game. He has a really nice flow when he dribbles, arrives and shoots. He keeps his head up when he dribbles as he looks to pass and loves to score. He is going to be a great 2 or 3 guard one day. As he continues to work on moving without the ball and also his dribbling he will be a cog good offensive player. He is going to be fun to watch in the years to come.

Joshua Daniels 40 5'5' Briggs MS, SC, 2023

Joshua had a lot good plays this weekend. His game will get better and better every time he steps on the floor because he picks up the game so fast. He just needs to play more to see his game take more shape; coachable, plays the game the right way, and understands the screen and roll. Coach Royosia Easton on Joshua Daniels: This day was a good experience for Joshua as a young player he now sees the things he can work on. He was a great teammate who was getting his teammates the ball. He set good screens to get his teammates open. Now he can work on his ball-handling and get more game experience which will help him in his actual game.

Kheni Briggs 99 6'2 Kannapolis MS, NC, 2021

Kheni might have been the best player at Phemon this week. Coaches raved about how good he was for his age. He has great length and a high IQ to match. He can guard all five positons on the floor; scorer, scores it on all three levels, great rebounder and great passing skills. Coach Royosia Easton on Kheni Briggs; Kheni is a natural athlete who is very skilled. He can do it all. He is a big time player who can score and defend. College coaches need to watch him now. He has a game like Scottie Pippin. He can drive, bring the ball up the court, rebound, finished and shot the three. He can see the floor and pass it to the open man. He is very coachable and is very personal. The sky is the limit for Kheni.

Georgio Najm 67 5'8 West Pine MS, NC, 2023

I love a guard that is will to push the ball up the floor to open teammates. This kid made everyone of the floor better; nice handle, great passer and finisher. Coach Royosia Easton on Georgio Najm: I would love to see film of Steve Nash in 8th grade because that is who Georgio plays like. He can shoot from the outside, pass to open teammates. His biggest asset is his ability to get the ball up the court with speed. He can finish on the fast break or pass to the open teammates. He plays great defense and hustles all the time.
