It is the start of the month of June and Phenom Hoops is INCREDIBLY excited about putting on the JMAC Showcase this weekend!' High-level teams will be coming to the Fort Mill area, looking to compete and gear themselves up for a big few upcoming months.
So, lets start looking at a few teams and players to watch for this weekend. Here are a few names to look out for.
Team: Rod Howard Select
Jemez Herd Jr. Forward 6’6
Jemez, when engaged, can be a difference maker on both ends of the floor. He has the ability to block shots, rebound and then push the ball up the floor.
On offense, Jemez can make plays off the bounce and shot from long range. Jemez has received an interest letter from Charlotte.
Armand Pierce Jr. Guard 5’11
Armand has alot of promise as a player on both ends of the floor. His ability to score and excel on defense is like no other. He has such a high motor and plays with no fear.
His effort and willingness to win are what drives this young man.
Brenton plays with a ton of energy. He has a quick first step to blow by his defenders and finish at the rim to go along with a solid mid-range game.
Brenton’s rebounding ability and the way he attacks the glass can be impressive to watch on both ends. Kid has a high upside once the game slows down for him.
