Regarded already for being one of the top prospects in his class at an early age, 2024 6’4 Jahseem Felton is already making news with his recruitment.

Just last week, it was announced that Felton had received his first offer from South Alabama; the first of many that should be coming his way down the road.  It was also announced that schools like Wake Forest and Xavier are expressing interest as well, as Felton certainly has the early tools to be a big-time star on the court.

Phenom Hoops got a first-hand glimpse of what Felton brings to the court at the NC Jr. Phenom camp back in the fall.  During that event, Felton earned MVP honors at the camp averaging over 23 points per game and showing just different of a prospect he is.

Felton is a strong, long, athletic guard prospect that plays with such a well-rounded skillset on the court.  Physically, his body and frame are impressive at such a young age and he is only going to get stronger.  He finishes well at the rim, penetrating and embracing contact but also can showcase his range.  Phenom Hoops founder Rick Lewis was his coach at the camp, saying this after watching him multiple occasions.

“Jahseem was one of the top players in camp. The “do it all” player has the tools. He can turn on at a switch. He does need to learn how to move better without the ball but is a very unselfish player. Jahseem can be as good as he wishes to be. He can handle, pass, rebound, and score. He’s balanced beyond his years.”

And the fact that he is already receiving offers from programs and is attracting the attention of high-major programs so early in his recruitment just solidifies that he will be an even bigger name in the coming years as he continues to develop.
